Cass County Election Office sending out corrected early voting ballot request postcards
Voters on Cass County's indefinite early voting list will soon receive corrected early voting ballot request postcards on blue cardstock in the mail. Ahead of every statewide election, the Cass County Election Office delivers postcards to indefinite early voters. The voter can return their completed indefinite early voting request postcard to request their early voting ballot.
While attempting to send the routine postcards on Monday, July 8, the United States Postal Service identified some postcards were printed with incorrect mailing addresses. The United States Postal Service immediately contacted the Cass County Election Office and held most of the postcards before they could be delivered. Some voters who use Informed Delivery were still notified that they received a mailing.
The Cass County Election Office strives to serve voters in an exceptional manner, and County Clerk Gerri Draper apologizes for the printing error and delay.
Voters who have any questions can contact the Election Office at (402) 296-9309. The Election office is located at 145 N. 4th Street, Plattsmouth. We are ready and happy to assist Cass County voters ahead of the November 5th General Election.
