EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS OFFICER
Cass County Emergency Management Agency is seeking an individual to fill a vacancy as an Operations Officer. Applicant must be a resident of Cass County Nebraska and if not at the time of employment must become a full-time resident within six (6) months of employment. Must have completed, or complete within 12 months of hire, the NEMA/Nebraska Basic Certification in Emergency Management.
Other required training and certifications are, HazMat Operations level training, NIMS/Incident Command Training through Federal ICS 300-400, certification as a Nebraska Emergency Medical Technician. Must maintain a valid Nebraska Driver's License with a good driving record. Must be 18 years of age. Helpful training and qualifications would include firefighter training or certifications, law enforcement, radiological training, supervisory, leadership and instructor training or significant experience.
