CASS COUNTY ASSESSOR
Cass County invites applicants for the Cass County Assessor. This is an interim, appointed position with a term of April 2025 - December 2026 with the opportunity to run for the elected position at the end of the appointed term. Applicants do not need to reside in Cass County to serve in this interim position.
The County Assessor performs highly confidential and professional work to ensure efficient office operation and provide services in accordance with Nebraska statutes regarding the duties and responsibilities of the County Assessor. The appointed individual will lead an office which performs a variety of technical field and office work in assessment of commercial, residential and agricultural properties which serve as the tax base for Cass County.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver's license, Current Nebraska Assessors Certificate. Cass County resident (not required for interim role) required for elected position.
